Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences and understand how you use it. We also use localStorage, which serves a similar purpose.
Cookies We Use
atlent_cookie_consent
Stores your cookie preference (accept or reject). This is strictly necessary for the site to respect your choice and is stored in localStorage.
PostHog (Analytics)
Analytics cookies set only when you accept cookies via our banner. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are written. On our public website nothing is sent either: PostHog is not loaded at all. When you are signed in, declining still means nothing is stored on your device, but we do measure product usage for the duration of your visit, on the basis of our legitimate interest. Our Privacy Policy explains that basis and your right to object. Used for page views and product usage analytics. Provider: PostHog, EU-hosted (eu.posthog.com). Category: analytics, and the cookies require your consent.
atlent_analytics_objection
Records, in localStorage, that you have objected to product analytics, so we can honour that objection immediately on page load rather than waiting for your account to load from our server. It is a cache of the setting held against your account, never the other way round, and it can only ever stop analytics, never start it. Because its sole purpose is to respect a choice you made, it is strictly necessary and is written whether or not you accept cookies. Clearing it does not withdraw your objection: that lives on your account.
atlent_analytics_person_props
Stores a short, non-reversible hash of the analytics properties we last sent about your account, in localStorage. It is written only after you accept cookies. Its only purpose is to let us skip sending the same properties again on every page load, so it holds a hash and never the values themselves. Category: analytics, and it requires your consent.
Error Monitoring Sets No Cookies
We use Sentry to find and fix bugs. It is listed here because people expect to see it on this page, not because it is a cookie: Sentry writes nothing to your device. No cookie, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, and session replay is disabled. Nothing is stored on or read from your device, so the cookie rules do not apply to it and it does not ask for your consent. Sentry may collect technical data such as browser type, operating system, and error details, with no personally identifiable information. We process that data on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working correctly. Our Privacy Policy has the detail.
Managing Cookies
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via our cookie banner, which appears on your first visit. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for atlent.io and reloading the page.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
